The Fisheries Council of Canada (FCC) and Silliker to sponsor two one-day workshops:
"Seafood Sampling - Policy and Procedures" and "Content Determination for Seafood Products"
Designed for processors, importers, wholesalers and seafood inspection personnel, the Sampling workshop participants will learn the performance characteristics of various sampling plans, how to select, apply and interpret the appropriate CFIA sampling plan for various tests and how to conduct statistically valid sampling of product lots. At the Contents workshop participants will gain an understanding of the terminology, Regulations and methodology for various products and various types of content determinations including deglazing, debreading as well as the determination of T1 & T2 outliers and weighted averages in order to interpret compliance.
Drawing on their years of seafood experience, our experts will share their insights and expertise during these comprehensive technical sessions.
The "Seafood Sampling - Policies and Procedures" course will be held in Burnaby, BC on March 29, 2010, and in Markham, ON on April 13, 2010.
The "Content Determination for Seafood Products" course will be held in Burnaby, BC on March 30, 2010, and in Markham, ON on April 14, 2010..
